In 1980, at the young age of 4, Dane Walker heard the Bb Major chord blast onto the theater screen for Star Wars, and instantly became hooked on the art form of writing music to picture. Growing up in the home of an electrical engineer, using computers to produce music became the norm. In the mid 90's, after graduating from High School, Dane took his interest in Midi Sequencing and composing overseas to Russia and began writing scores with a PC, Cakewalk, a Yamaha Tone Generator, and a Kurzweil K2500. Dane's first album "Russia, My Russia" was produced from those scores and recorded back in the United States. Dane went on to attend Berklee College of Music and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Film Scoring. Before graduating, Dane had already lined up his first 2 feature films and wrote, produced and recorded those within a year and a half of graduating. Dane has been the composer for over 13 films, provided the music for multiple television shows viewed on channels such as Discovery, Disney+, NatGeo, Nova, and he has released 7 albums of his original compositions, including his film scores. You can hear his music on all of the major streaming platforms.
